I am still digesting some of the information you presented.I think your conceptualization of FRAMES, and how we build them, is so helpful in identifying ways to address the limits of one person's perspective in a conflict.I am so glad that I have made time in my life to participate in this series of presentations. Does MEDIATION Matter in 2009?

According to US News and World Report, it matters a lot -- and more and more people will make a career of it.

The field of mediation was named one of the best careers for 2009. The brief article describes its potential as a socially responsible professional path even in an economic downturn. Read more here: www.usnews.com/articles/business/best-careers/2008/12/11/best-careers-2009-mediator.html.

CM FELLOWS RECEPTION

Thursday, June 17th 2010
5 - 7 p.m.
Creative Mediation

In 2009 Creative Mediation initiated the CM Fellows Program. The mission of the CM Fellows Program is to spotlight the talent, intellect, and abilities of local community members who elect to support Creative Mediation through research and development of new peace-building initiatives. All Ambassadors are invited to join us in watching as this year's CM Fellows candidates present their research findings and service projects for the first time.

Join us from 5 - 5:30 for wine and hors d'oeuvres prior to the presentations. The presentations will begin at 5:30 and continue until approximately 7:00. This event will take place at CM's new offices - at 285 South Street Suite J.

The CM Fellows reception is an invitation only event. Please RSVP by June 8th by calling 805-549-0442 or emailing jdell@creativemediation.net.

AMBASSADOR MISSION: Free Workshops and Training for Groups!

Hi Ambassadors!

One of Creative Mediation’s best tools for public awareness is providing information sessions to various organizations, such as businesses, community groups, and professional associations.

For this month’s Ambassador Mission we are asking all of you to continue the word-of-mouth marketing strategy by identifying groups, through your community affiliations, that may be interested in an information session or workshop from Creative Mediation staff.

Information Sessions are typically 30 minute presentations, during a staff meeting or as an in-service training, in which we explain our services and provide conflict resolution information. Many groups find it beneficial to know that we exist, and helpful to have tips and tools for on-the-job conflict resolution.

Please contact Jessica Dell if you have suggestions, or would like to set up an information session for a group.

Phone:805-549-0442 ext. 17 E-mail: jdell@creativemediation.net

Thank you for your continued support of Creative Mediation!
